The primary objective of this
laboratory is to give a practical knowledge about auto
vehicle service, inspection, maintenance, repair and testing
which help the student to develop confidence in thinking
skills, problem solving and practical education about auto
vehicle.
Laboratory having latest testing,
repair and service equipments like wheel balancer, wheel
aligner, tyre changer,AC recovery unit,UV leak detector,
Diesel nozzle tester ,UCS cleaner, Electronic tyre inflator,
Four post lift, Sparkplug tester, Fuel pump calibration test
bench etc.
This laboratory also having different
automotive components and engines, so students can
work on that. |

Automobile electronics is one of the
booming area for newly developed auto vehicles. Our
laboratory equipped with testing automobile electrical
components like starter, alternator, petrol injector (MPFI),
etc.
For the laboratory an embedded
system is developed. Its content sensor kit and different
latest sensors used in modern auto vehicles.
Engine analyzer
is one of the testing equipment on which different tests
being carried out on the running vehicle. This is the only
educational institute having such equipment |

This laboratory facilitated with testing of alternate fuels
(Biodiesel) used in transportation vehicles other than
gasoline & diesel fuel on diesel engine. Through this
experimentation we can find out inherent performance and
environmental advantages. This laboratory contents study
about other alternate fuels like CNG, LPG, Hydrogen etc. and
engine system like Electric & Hybrid vehicle |

Laboratory having Pro-Engineer w.f. 3.0
modeling software. By using such software students can learn
about 3-D modeling commands for part modeling, features for
functional purpose, editing commands, assembly.
Demonstration of 1-D structural analysis problem also given
on Pro-mechanica. |

This laboratory gives concept of dynamic behavior of car
models. This laboratory covers concept of vehicle vibration
by performing experiments on spring –mass system and
whirling of speed shaft. This laboratory also covers
experiment based on wind force, and checks effect of various
parameters on vehicle dynamic behaviour. This laboratory is
a part of fluid machine lab & Theory of machine lab where
such experiments are performed. This laboratory also include
project laboratory for students for doing their projects
like “All Terrain Vehicle” etc. |
