A D Patel Institute of Technology was granted IEEE Student Branch with 20 members. The purpose of foundation of the branch is to get exposure of the-state-of-art-technologies to the students, to get an access to the world class technical information for research, to get networking opportunities and many other exclusive benefits of IEEE to our students. Now, during the current year, our branch membership is increased to 67 student members. In a few months, the branch has developed from a small group of students to an active center of students trying to gain knowledge and information about cutting edge technologies, trying to implement these technologies. The student branch is active in organizing the activities such as seminars, workshops, papers presentation competition and project exhibition
