Dear Students and Teachers,

          I welcome you all on the full onset of the academic year 2011-12. The students’ hard work, sincere efforts by the teachers brought good result of 8^th semester (SPU) and 6^th semester (GTU).

          I congratulate all the graduated students and their teachers for their hard work during the final year project, to go through the acid test in the field to serve the society. My best wishes to all of you who have got the job, pursuing higher studies, planning to go out of country or preparing for competitive studies.

         Friends, you are now ambassador of the Institute. Let us keep learning, update ourselves every day and raise the bar of self. This will automatically lead to raise the bar of the Institute. Please do not hesitate to come to your Alma Mater. We are always there to help you.  

         Dear Teachers and students, academic year 2011-12 has come with the new challenges. We have to set new goals and plan it well to achieve better than what we have achieved till now. There is no shortcut of disciplined sincere efforts. As the first batch of GTU is ready to go out to serve the society, a special care is to be taken for them so that they can set the image of the University, in turn image of the Institute. “Well beginning in half way done”. I have seen the students, progressing from the year they entered in the Institute, 2008-09, till date and I am sure, it will continue in the current academic year too.

         In the academic year 2011-12, teachers should plan new targets in terms of research, pedagogy, so that at the end of the year, their degree of satisfaction and enrichment in their confidence take place.
