Dairy Technology

Duration & Eligibility
    Duration: 4 years
    Eligibility: Std. 12th (Science) with minimum 45% for open (40 % for SC/ST/SEBC/EWS) of theory or (theory and practical) marks along with ACPC norms

  • To create leaders for milk and its products preservation, process handling and marketing.
Program Outcomes
  • Acquire the knowledge of Chemistry, Microbiology and Basic Engineering to solve the practical problems related to Dairy Industries.
  • Identify, formulate and analyze the complex Dairy Engineering problems related to process, preservation and packaging.
  • Demonstrate an ability to design a system, component/process as per needs and specifications of Dairy Industries.
  • Create, select and apply appropriate techniques, resources and innovative methods for Dairy Industries.
  • Understand the impact of professional Dairy Engineering solutions with Environmental context and ethical solutions.
  • Able to work effectively as an individual and as a member or leader in diverse teams with multidisciplinary approach for long life learning.
