About AICTE IDEA Lab

ADIT was selected among a limited number of colleges across India by AICTE to establish the IDEA Lab, co-funded by CVM University. The lab supports rapid prototyping, entrepreneurship, and innovation for students and faculty.

Vision for the IDEA Lab

• To create a startup & innovation community in the region to foster the "Make in India" movement.
• To develop an ecosystem where ideas, technology and knowledge are exchanged across ages.
• To be a reference centre for rapid prototyping and technological transformation in the Charotar region.
• To support learning based on the latest industry trends.

Integration with existing facilities

The institute has multiple Centres of Excellence in emerging areas. UG/PG students and faculty involved in CoEs, research projects and professional bodies (IEEE, ISTE, SAE etc.) can leverage IDEA Lab facilities to elevate project outcomes, promote start-ups and strengthen industry-aligned R&D.

Benefits to Students

IDEA Lab provides a platform for students to convert ideas into prototypes, gain practical skills, participate in competitions and collaborate with faculty on research and startups. ADIT's ecosystem (CoEs, SSIP, Innovation Council) will be strengthened by this facility.
