About NCC

The National Cadet Corps is the Indian military cadet corps with headquarters at New Delhi. It is open to school and college students on voluntary basis. Cadets receive basic military training and preference in selections.

NCC History

NCC was formed under the National Cadet Corps Act of 1948 and raised on 15 July 1948. It has played a significant role in national service and youth development.
