The areas of Robotics, Autonomous system and Artificial Intelligence systems have seen significant growth in education sector in India and Globally now days. Continuous growth of Advanced Industrial and Manufacturing systems along with applications ranging from Autonomous Vehicles is foreseen as well as increase in demand for undergraduate as well as specialized post graduates programs. This Centre of excellence would cover the major aspect of system engineering and control with emphasis on system autonomy and intelligent. It is fast changing discipline and would equip students with the knowledge and skills to develop a strong career in industry, and/or research skills needed to pursue a research career. Autonomous systems are truly multidisciplinary and attracts many scientific disciplines. It should provide broad analytical and practical skills and experience to apply autonomous and intelligent systems concepts in many professional environments. Presently, the Centre emphasis on work of dual arm manipulators, Modelling and control of Biped systems, uneven terrain autonomous vehicle etc.
